Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful tril you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you, but rejoice that you participated in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
I Peter 4:12-13
Painful trials are part of life but God loves us and helps us to grow through them. Each challenge we encounter in life is part of our education process - a process that determines when we're ready to be promoted to the next level. Trials build spiritual muscle, faith, endurance, and longsuffering. They are opportunities to experiance firsthand the faithfulness of God and to show our ability to rejoice as we share in the sufferings of Christ.
Trials come and go, but the development of Godly character - our personal spiritual maturity - during the process makes us a worthy condidate for the promotion God has planned for us!
